argh, im having a fuel issue on left turns with my car. i should have it sorted by the 10th, if i dont i'll let you guys know if im going or not. as long as i dont make any left turns im fine

1.) Beastman(1)- Burgers, hot dogs
2.) KLM317(1, maybe 2)- plates and napkins
3.) fanboy95(2) buns
4.) shigexile (1 or 2) - cups for the drinks, utensils, ketchup, mustard.
5.) bitter (2) - 2 liters of sprite, italian sausages, some bratwurst, some condiments
6.) 115celi (1) - chips
7.)nate95-- snackes : )

beastman, where exactly are you planning on setting up for the meet and cook-out? do you have a general idea? would just like to make it a lil easier for all of us to find where to go. but i'm looking forward to the meet, i just better not rain.

i think it would be best to get the site by the boat ramp? or the one closer to the rangers station?

also, what about the grilling situation. will there be grills there? do portable ones need to be brought? charcole? just want to get the particulars done before we all make the trip. home is an hour and a half away for me, so don't want to forget somp.

can i get some people's numbers so i can call if there is trouble finding?

unfortunatly my car still isn't cooperating. it starts fine and idles but as soon as i step on the pedal, it dies

Ok guys here is what i have going so far. tommorow i am going to call starved rock and see if they have grills. If not i have a small one and so does fanboy. Im thinking of trying for that first picnicking area off the main road by the rangers station because there is a parking lot right there, but if that is already taken by the time we get there, go down towards the boat ramp. I will give my cell phone number to any member who wants it via PM, so if you want it hit me up with a PM and i will gladly give it to you. Otherwise this is still going on rain or shine!

One quick question: Who would be interested in playing bean bags? because i can get a collapsable set from my gf's family that we could use and would probably fit in the celi. But i want to know who would be interested in playing because i do not want to try and make them fit and haul them down there if no one is going to play. So everyone post on here yes or no and ill will decide.. Update to come tommorow about the grilling situation. Thanks guys!

nothing quite as fun as a game of cornhole with a bunch of guys you dont know!

snapped axle ear infection and periodontitis all ganged up on me and decided im not going anywhere

- OK guys i just called starved rock and the lady i spoke to said they do have some grills but they are not close together and there are not that many. So she recommended bringing our own. I have a small propane one that i will bring and if we could get someone else to bring a small one i think we would be pretty good.

- Im getting a good response on the bean bags so i will try to fit them in the car and bring them. Im going to go tonight after i get off of work to see if they will fit.

- Update to come later tonight or tommorow with all the final details!

^ i only have a big grill that is impossible to fit in the car so i can't help you there.

i'll bring my grill then, mines gas. a charcoal one would be cool cause everyone knows it tastes better

who wants to bring chips since 115celi can't? i can bring my small charcol grill if it is wanted. i can't fit much, but you still get that nice taste.
