I havent done that but i probably will, its easy you just get a switch, ground it, put the antenna wire on the switch, and then put another wire going from the switch to the radio. When the switch is open, the antenna wont go up cuz theres no signal going to it.

ok well one more question, i'm considering putting the switch in the ashtray compartment, and i want to put a LED (green or purple) in it as well so i can flip it open, flip the switch, and still see it at night, plus it'd look cool. Does anyone know where i could hook the leads for power up to? I'm knew to vehicle electricle wiring, so I have no idea where to look, I have the repair manuel by Chilton, but I dont' want to mess this up, if anyone can give me advice where to put the leads to it'd be great thanks again.

I got power from the cd player power lead. You can also tap into the cig lighter. Just open it up and have a play around, and get a few spare fuses smile.gif
