ya, if you lived in the states, I'd take it off your hand, but its a pain trying to import. My dad has an imported a 914, and I don't want to go through the work and money it involves. Good luck!

Eh. Shipping won't be that much as long as you got patience. Just call around to a bunch of east coast shipping companies that do international trade ships. Ask them if you can have any extra space they ahve for whatever charge they need (I called and could do a 1989 Skyline GT-R for like 500 bucks) and I just have the person you buy it from drop it off at the place. I would try and go to the shipping place, or check better business bureau to make sure they are on the up and up. Yeah seller just drops off the car and tells the people what it's about...and hopefully by then the shipping company on the US side would have contacted the people in London (or whever u buy from). OK, then you get them to put it on the ship...and they ship. You just have to be patient. Then the shippers call you when it gets back here. Now you got two choices...
A) have it shipped by someone...you can do it fairlycheap (around 400 bucks)
B) You and a friend drive to the shipping place and one you guys drive the cars back to your place (you need two people cuz u drive one car there and pick up one...that's two cars...two people...yay im smart!)

Then you just have to pay the 400-600 bucks in fees etc. So in other words it's not no double the price to get it here...nope. Just be imaginative. There are still nice people in the world that will do favors if you give them a small ammount of money.

you can't import full running JDM cars to the US as street vehicles. it's illegal. there have been many threads on this on celica.net ... if it was that easy, everyone would have an ST205. there are these things called customs and importation laws. no way around that, without spending a crapload of money... unless you import it as a show or race only car, and then you can't ever drive it on the street. if you try, and get caught, the car can be immediately seized and destroyed. even if you can get it in the country, registration and legalization would cost even more $$$.

hey silva! that car is perfect for you, its already in the UK, plus its an SS-3. in other words it is like a souped up GT. i guess you could equivalently call it a GT-S? so in other words it is better than a GT, but not quite a GT-4. It is a GT-4 without the turbo. If i hadnt already started pourin money into my car i would go through the hassle of gettin an SS-3, actually i would prolly go through the hassle of gettin a GT-4. but i learned too little too late eh? but yea dude, i would go for that. good deal on a good car.
