So ya, I have been tossing around the idea of selling the GT-Four, she is a great car and is running great now but it is more I have way too many cars to keep them all up. I mean this winter I am building a Delorean w/ a rotary in it along with refitting my RX-7 for SCCA track use and just don't have the time to give the car the love it needs. And this isn't the only one going I am selling my Jeep too. I already sold my old Corvette and handed off 2 other RX-7's. Ya I had a problem, leave me alone. Anyone interested let me know, I haven't settled on a price because the car isn't ready for sale, I am going to finish the brake job and some other little things before I sell it, so looking around November to put it up. Any questions can be posted, PMed or emailed to otakurx@gmail.com. If you are in a different state I don't know how your emissions are so you may need to install a cat on the car, NH doesn't have an emissions check really so I stripped it of that.

Peace,
Mike

PS: Pictures of the rebuild can be found here http://zatoichi.is-a-geek.org/celcia/index2.html

mike is a good guy who's done a TON of work on the car to get it back in good running condition.
BTW, mike, i may just have to kill you now. wink.gif

Sorry about the link, just fixed it. The car has a fresh motor in it (only maybe 2000 miles on it). The car itself has 58000miles on it. I have a spare transmission, the old blown block, another head and various other parts for the car. We basically restored the car. The car has a Blitz Access ECU that seems to be malfunctioning (not advancing the timing) so I was originally planning to put a Motec M4 from Fensport in the UK in her. The car is a real GT-Four from Japan, RHD and all. It costs as much as anyother car now, and every state has their requirements for inspections NH is very lax on it. It should be fine in any state other then Cali as long as a cat is put on the car. Due to the cars rareity I am looking for around $20,000 esp with a fresh motor and turbo and the head work which has been done. But I will consider any reasonable offer.

Things not done:
rear break rebuild (I have the parts including new rotors and pads)
Exhaust has a leak
ECU has an internal error (blitz won't respond) so replacing w/ a motec
Wheels could use some paint

Things Done:
Engine rebuild
Port and polished head
HKS intake
HKS EVC 3 boost controller
GT35 hybrid turbo
3" downpipe
Pioneer stereo
850cc injectors
Stage 3 clutch (have a spare too)
lightweight steel flywheel
Recaro seats
Car alarm from Omega

Parts:
Rear brake parts inc. rotors
Stage 3 Clutch
Spare turbos (3x)
Greddy Boost Guage
old block (bored .40 over w/ pistons)
Second head and intake and exhaust manifolds
spare altinator
New Carpet for front
other random parts

I know manni it is horrible, but I can't maintain 4 cars and work part-time and goto school full time, and out of all my cars she is the one that is worth passing on. So I guess this could be a once in a life time opertunity. It is one of 2 in the states that I know of, yes it is fully legal titled and registered in NH. She was at the last Colt State Park meet, so there are some more pics in that thread.

I don't have one, but yes that would work too, but why go stock when you can go better ^.^

edit: I fixed the web link. That has great pics of the rebuild.

edit2: ok I misspelled celica in the link, come on guys noone picked that up?!?

20k$ is way too expensive for GT4 in good shape.

But as he said, it's 1 of 2 in the US. I'm confused, and I have NO idea what I would pay for this.

At what RPM does the turbo spool up at? (what PSI is seen at what RPM) And is the GT-4 ready to drive home?

Yes it is all set to drive anywhere, I have taken it to RI a few times now. It can spool as low as 2k but really kicks in between 2.5k 3k and holds solid to 7k with ease. I will think on the price then. I will say I think 12k would be on the low side (not saying too low so DON'T PANIC)

lmao operating cost? wtf are you goin to pay the guy because he's been driving it...this car is no different from any other car..IMO 20k is too high for an 11 year old car..end of story
12k does sound like a fair price but does have mods i would expect somewhere around 12k-15k on the high side...
