Don't know about u guys over there, but here is Aus, especially where i live, i find that 90% of Celica drivers are 30-40 yrs old, instead of teens, it's kinda disturbing, yet the ones i see only drives the 5th gen, so i was wondering how is it like over there?

It's pretty spread-out. A lot of people just drive whatever they can get their hands on. As for Celicas in specific, around where I live it's pretty balanced; i've seen about as many kids driving 6GC's as I have adults. Not many teen-driver 5GC'ers though!

Do you guys MOT over there? (I think that's what it's called) It's basically the regulation and maintainence(sp) of your vehicle. I know when I lived in the UK you don't see cars like you do here, people drive beat-to-hell (beaters) everywhere, as long as they can move!...random question.

I was actually wondering a couple days ago what the age range is like on this forum of Celica owners...I only know a few 6gc owners where I live, there's me, age 20, my bro, 16, this hot chick who ran for miss universe this year, she's like 23, one of my bro's friends who is prolly 17, and then waaaaay up there is my old boss, who's freakin ancient..cant tell how old she is through the inch-thick layer of makeup...

The only owner of a 5th gen I know is a 40 year old...but she looks and acts 25, lol...

I see most 6gc enthusiast are young drivers and the ones that don't give a damn about their 6gc are elder and ugly. Thats how i see it. You treat your 6gc like that, you are one ugly person.

where i live, it's somewhat spread out but still mostly owned by people 26 and under. i think i knew who last owned my car, it was an old lady (about 60) that always kept it either stored or always clean and played golf a lot, really took good care of the car.

but in general, all celi's are mainly owned by the younger population... because of it being a sports car.

I would say that majority of people in Polish Celica-Club is between 20-25 years old. Majority drives 5gc, than you have fewer 6gcs and 7gcs driven rather by 25+ years old.

don't worry mate, we got a couple of those cars over here, i'm amazed how the cops don't pull them over, but really it depends on the population really, cause some people can't afford to get their cars up to scratch but yeah we try to get our cars up to scratch. well it's good to see we got some 6 gens owners that are females, lol again today i just saw an 40+ yr old lady driving a 96+ 6th gen, now if only we had more girls owning the 6th gen over here in Aus

We didn't start getting them in country (shipped from JP) until about 3 years ago. Mine was actually the second one in country, but then the first guy (25yrs) totaled his making mine the only one in country! that lasted about about 8-10 months and now there are about 12 that i've seen (22-30yrs). None of them are 6gc.net members that i'm aware of.

here in CZ it can be extracted from price of celicas here:

7gen + 6gen GTfour: 15 000 - 20 000 USD
6gen + 5gen GTfour: 5 500 - 9 000 USD
5gen: 3 000 - 5 000 USD
4gen: 500 - 2 000 USD

so... I have met so far just 25-40 years old 6gen celi owners (videlicet: old people for this community biggrin.gif)
