Okay I don't know if it was already posted, but I really need to know. Is there motor mounts available for the ST model celica? I've been noticing this post for a while, but wasn't too sure since it says that it fits on GT models.

I know I can definatley feel more vibration... my steering wheel makes a rattling noise because of the vibration, but it goes away as soon as the RPMs go up like 1-200. it's worth it though. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

Can you feel more of the engine vibration when at idle? i can hear my glove box make some noises from time to time. since your car is now more connected to the motor, small things here and there might vibrate a little. its really not that big of a deal tho, and well worth the benefits you get from poly mounts. QUOTE(giang723 @ Dec 28, 2006 - 7:01 AM) hey guys, how hard is it to DIY the motor mount inserts? just wondering if there are any instructions for the 6gen? cause i wanna learn how to do it instructions are in one of the replys to this thread. I had a really hard time getting the mounts out, and then an even harder time getting them back in. but some people on here claim that it's a 1-2 hour job. I eventually had to cut the two bolts off the bottom of the rear mount, then weld nuts in their place so that bolts could come up through the crossmember rather than down through it. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

Will the kirk inserts for the 6gc GT work with an st205 rear insulator?
I'm running the GT front insulator but an ST205 rear insulator since I have an e153.. so everything lines up properly... I can't quite recall from memory but i THINK the rear mounts are the same between the GT and the st205.. rubber wise... Anyone know? -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.
