I shoudl be getting my 6g power folding mirror's tommorw with relay and switch is there anything that I should know before I start installing them?

good luck on the wiring... i still haven't finished mine yet. i need to get another relay and i'm waiting for one to pop up on ebay or somewhere..

just remember they're RHD so the angle of the glass is not gonna be the same.. so yeah, just a heads up smile.gif

what do mean by angled mirrors? so i have to swap them out? which one is angeled ?

if you use the JDM housings then you will not be able to see out of the pass side mirror too well because of the angle of the housing. Some members switch the motors into their USDM housings.

Either way just make sure you use your USDM glass.

i basically added tiny ~7mm rubber washers under the outer-most screws that holds the mirror motor in place to the mirror housing.. this way they angle in more than out.

just imagine yourself sitting on the RH side, the driverside mirror would more likely be angled inward and the passengerside angled outward.. anyway you'll figure it out when you install them.

when swapping guts, the screws at the bottom are a pain so make sure you don't strip them. and wiring the wire for the folding tends to be a pain through the door panel i used a coat hanger and i had to strip off the black electrical tape on the door loom for the hanger to go through. your going to have to cut the clip off the motor to fit them into the usdm housing..then resoder them back on. soon as you get em installed you gotta roll around to that one Ludacris song "Act a fool" that says my sidemirrors flap like a fKing bird.
