After installing the rear springs for my st coupe today i was thinking that the rear strut bar may fit if i get rid of the carpet area on back my the rear brake light....any ideas?

not much of a point. you would need to take alot of stuff out. and the coupe is very rigid in the rear

It won't fit. Not only would you have to remove the trim, there is a portion of the chassis that runs between the two struts in such a way as to obstruct a conventional bar that fits the hatch. If someone did manage to build a bar to suit the coupe, it wouldn't do much. J-Speed "triangle" style would give you some extra rigidity, but again won't fit without modification.
