ive seen a few posts from the guys that have gotten their HIDs and the pics. great stuff, so far they all look awesome. i want to see the color differences because im pretty sure i want 4500k, or at least the whitest possible color without any blue tint or anything of the sort. the first page shows that 4500k reflects a bit of yellowish light off the road and 6000k has a light blue tint... none of those sound about right for me. then i saw pics of lew's car and his 8000k lights looked white but i forgot the other guys name with white car looked blue... anyone have pics of the different color temps installed so i can see differences? it seems different HID manufacturers have slightly different colors for the same #k. thanks.

my 8000K are very blue. everything on the road lights up blue. I don't think that's what you want... but it's what I wanted and I love it! I've already recieved one comment on them!

^^ not really, 6000K is a bluish white, 4500 K is plain white and I think there is a 5000K which is the super white.

haha... i got the impression that your high beams were your DRL's because they are that way on a celica. I forgot that you dont actually have a celica, but participated in a celica GB. I think most of the other peoples comment assumed you had a celica as well (in refrence to US celi's not having DRL's)

so, where did everyone mount their passenger side ballasts? I mounted mine to the side of the relay and fuse box, but I guess the underhood temperatures were enough to heat up the tape and it fell off... same with the duct tape I had holding up my relay.

I need to know if your problem is the ballast or the bulb, when you have time try this. swap the bulbs and see if the good bulb works on the non working side, and vice-versa that way we'll know if the bulb needs to be replace or the ballast. I already notify the company and they are willing to help us, so just try that and let me know what are the results.

Did you install the kit? There might be some sort of clip/base that would either clip/or turn the bulb to hold it in place. Most bulbs you need to turn them about 1/4 turn either CW or CCW and it will pull straight out. You arent supposed to touch the bulb istelf with your hands, so if you have any latex/vinyl gloves use them.
