So... My boyfriend is graduating bootcamp like in 10 days... And I'm traveling with his mom to go to his graduation...

His mom booked the flights, and everything and then she emailed me telling me that I dont havta pay a cent for my plane ticket... Its her treat. tongue.gif

Then i found out the ticket was 400 dollars... O_o I was shocked that she said she'd pay for me! I had the money to pay her back and everything, but she insisted! How sweet of her is that!?

So i seriously cant thank her enough for everything that she's done and I wanna do something nice for her... But! i dont know what to do! kindasad.gif

I was thinkin like sending her flowers or something... but that seems so... I dunno... not enough...

help anyone? wink.gif

If she doesn't want the money back, don't insist on paying her back. Thats not good. Find out what she likes and get her a gift instead. Something that she knows you put "thought" into.

well thats the thing...

cant really have a graduation party... my boyfriend ships out immediately or a few hours later to California after he graduates... So thats outa the question... kindasad.gif

and then I barely know his mom... I dont know the first thing about her let a lone what she actually likes... See this is why it was sucha shock that she'd pay for my ticket, we've only hung around each like a grand total of like 5 times...

Hmmm... this is harder then I thought hahah I was still thinking about the flowers as a small thank you then taking her out and my boyfriend out to a nice dinner when he gets home which will be around christmas to go that extra mile... I dunno...

help!

I think your boyfriends mom knows how much he likes you and misses you... and wants to see you! So she bought your plane ticket... not so much for you but as a gift your her son, smile.gif just a thought, I dunno! But treating her to dinner when you get there should be enough like supersprynt mentioned. You could look at it this way... if u bought a ticket for some one would u expect anything in return?
