Well if we do go through with this meet, just figure out a place and meet up.

Did you guys hear about the Poker Run?? We can probably meet up there?

***What's up everyone, I'm posting this for my friends over there on http://www.tnkytuners.com ! We're trying to set this up for SPRING OF 2007!***
So, Im sure that the title is what brought most of whoever of you that are looking at this. (Wow I think I lost brain cells reading/typing that)

Anyway, Ive been thinking I want to do something thats an event that will bring people to the site more and help put the name out there.

What better way to do this than a good ol fashion poker run? right? Mike(nismonkey) and I(Chris) are working the details out when we get more rules and stuff together we will post them here is what we have come up with so far...

1) Entry fee - $20 for the driver $10 for the radio/navigation person (this person is required/mandatory) total is $30 to enter.

2) $10 per passenger in the car, other than the driver and radio person.

3) Each vehicle will be required to carry a working 2way radio and/or cell phone (that works)

4) Each vehicle will be given a set of driving directions, you are not required to follow the given route, but it is highly reccomended.

5) Each vehicle (driver/all passengers) is required to sign a waiver of release, stating...that TNKYtuners is not responsible for any tickets/traffic violations etc.

6) Have fun!! Enjoy the scenery, its a mountain drive from what I have been told. And there is a lot of crap to do in Gatlinburg according to Daniel (McDizzle). Ive been told there is a outlet mall and a million restaurants and go-karts and over all the place is a tourist trap. With loads of hotels. So, enjoy yourselves.

** And remember, the more cars we have the bigger the prize money!! **

$30 x 100cars = 3grand
3grand -2grand for prize money
(1st-$1, 000 2nd -$750 3rd -$250)
Tthe last 1grand goes to the site for BBQs and Tshirts and Stickers, etc.)

So if we get 200cars, think of what the amount for 1st place will be

That doesn't sound any fun at all..I say we just have a meet and greet, and BBQ or something, in Bowling Green. That was the possible plan last time, but no one was interested. I'm down for whatever, and whenever.

i like the idea of hittin nashville then coming back to knoxville. might check out kentucky too...I'm gettin the 3sgte it looks like so maybe we can run 'em.Speaking of which anybody know someone that will do my swap? My resources are running thin. But it's still promising.

bump lets not let this one die again..maby we could do it somwhere whre we could run our cars leagally..just an idea

theres a drag strip in knoxville..one in g-burg too if I'm not mistaken..What about nashville?

closest one to nashville is union hill (1/8th mile), which is up north, probably halfway between nashville and clarksville. there's also beech bend (1/4 mile) in bowling green, ky.

why dont we just hit one up in each city? it needs to be single weekend thing though. i work m-f and can't miss..plus I've still got class for about a month longer. only way i could do it.

gotta get the car runnin first though

every city and hit them all up in 1 weekend? impossible. most only have open nights on 1 night, and that's usually friday or somethin. beech bend is friday i believe, and union hill used to be on tuesdays? i wanna say? not sure.

drag stirp in k-town but i have never heard of one in g-burg

does anybody know anything on the meet when where what time that kind of stuff

i say we meet in gatlineburg or midlesburo kentucky somewhere with some things to do like go karts and stuff like that gatlinburg would be the ideal for that but if you all know anywhere better then we will do that

do u all want to do it in the neer future or just do it when it worms up and i say we do it in pigeon forge there is so much to do up there like gocarts and we could cruse up to gatlinbur science it is ol nly like 5 miles and there is a alot of stuff to do up there also if you all let me know when you want to do it if the place is ok with you all then i will set up and make sure the date is good for every one i guess we could call me the mouderator
