It helps you a bit with that down force yo. jk
I don't believe that you will feel a difference though, not in a celica, you shouldest be going over 100 anyway.

If you take off the spoiler you are going to have the fill in the holes. And then you will have to get it painted, so unless ur willing to put down some cash, id keep it, maybe throw on some gt-4 raiser blocks.

raiser blocks will cost more. The newer MKVIs have 3 sets of holes.

Well you can remove the spoiler and Bondo putty the holes, sand, primer, sand again, and then paint. Or you can weld the holes.. Not sure how the process of welding goes but im sure you would need to sand, and primer as well.. Hope this helped.

BTW.. i think spoilerless celicas look BRILLIANT! That is my opinion though. Goodluck.

get a VIS carbon fiber hatch. OR go to the UK and hope you find a hatch in a junkyard from a Celica that came without the spoiler. OR bondo the holes like everyone else is saying. OR ghetto patch the holes with vinyl stickers like I did biggrin.gif

[its a temporary fix buts its held strong for months]

another thing you can do is find a wide flat bolts that have nuts to them....find a rubber grommet and place it on the under side of the bolt and tighten with a lock washer to prevent water from coming in...it works pretty good, only thing is having a black bolt show (if you paint it black/whatever color you have)

vissi, there's a stretch of i93 north here that's sorta' like the autoban. the speed limit is 75, but people drive at a MINIMUM of 100mph and go upwards of 120+mph. as long as my celica's ass doesn't start to take off i'm OK to take out the spoiler.

re: mods, that's what i mean about taking it out, there'll be water issues. NO ONE has done this mod? i'm interested in seeing what other people do. hurley, don't those stickers peel off after a while and water seeps in?

some of the holes match up. you have to drill one on each side at the circled area
