im new to this forum and run a all toyota team called TEAM ASCENSION... i would like to invite anyone who is local out to our meets... they are the first and third saturday of everymonth at steakburger golf-o-rama at 5pm... yes this means that we are having one tommorow. my team got started by a bunch of people who were tired of a all scion club so right now we are pretty much just scions (all except for my hachi rouku and a 6th gen celica) if anyone is interested let me know and i will give more info... the management at this establishment is friendly to the scene and there is a decent sized parking lot. when it really comes down to it we are just a bunch of tuners that are trying to stoke the fire in our area back to life...

hey awesome... it would be great to have you and anyone else you wanna bring... we had, i wanna say, 10 cars out there last night and would deffinitely like to see more people show up... essentially what happened was a few of us got drunk one night and started reminising about how it used to be (back before 2000-2001)... we just want that back... so we are trying to get other people to want it like we do. we are taking our scene back.

I urge everyone who's interested to come and see what it's all about. Ask questions and chat with other Toyota enthusiasts.

hey gerg... i figured you would chime in eventually... we are currently debating on whether or not to have it immediately after we leave import motion on the 17th or if we will just put it off till the next weekend... i will make sure that this thread stays posted... im glad to see people actually being interested... please get fired up... we are.

anyways i wanna make it out but gotta get my car more realiable first. I fell in love with my car all over again the other night when I had my drive it 20 miles and I was behind it and was like wow that car is beautiful and sounds awesome.

aww i may cry cuz ive been so mean to my car lately lol. I think im going to give it a good rub down next week when the weather is a bit nicer and take him out for some pictures.

oh yeah and it is decided... we are going to be meeting there after importmotion... so we will be there around like 7 ish... our people who arent showing are going to leave IM early so they can get to steakburger by 7. the people who are showing are going to get to steakburger when they can (pending a heck of a time leaving the expo center)...

Yeah I'll be there at Import Motion but not showing , so I'll try to leave a little early to be at Steak Burger by 7.

just to throw it out there... if anyone is on the fence about coming to this meet... if you wanna see a built for touge scion tC driven by a guy in a parrot costume... you should deffinitely be in attendance.

hmmm i saw a scion with super man and other super heroes all over it at target by the vancouver mall tonight, anyone know them?

yeah his name is chase... its sorta ugly and i know hes planning on getting a CF cape for his xB.

meh hes supposed to be at Import motion i guess... hes repping scion evolution. its kinda weak though... not to throw mud but hes a judge and hes showing... not cosher.

Well, I'm pretty stoked for this weekend. Import Motion, meeting other 6GCers and I'll be doing my suspension on Monday...now I just have to make it through the week first.
