Welcome to the community! biggrin.gif

I don't think that firecracker orange metallic is a factory color, because I haven't seen that color name anywhere before. Do you have a photo of your car's color? Also, does the paint job look like a factory one? Is the engine bay and trunk the same color as the outside of the car?

Hi- Barnsley, Silversurfer(oh and I lived in Rochester for a few years)! Yes it certainly looks factory painted. Took my dad along B4 I bought it.He's an ex car dealer/mechanic etc for about 30 years and he couldn't fault it...no signs of respray at all-Trunk and engine bay exactly the same.
i haven't got a photo yet, but I will get one sorted. It's not really a very good description of the actual colour(if you know what I mean). It's like a cross between burnt orange and raspberry with a goldy metallic finish,-god knows-we've debated this for hours...I'll get a photo (not bronze though).Oh- the upholstery is charcoal with a blue and grey fleck, if that helps. confused.gif

your second description is alot better! its the burnt orange that did it, yeah that is factory, seen it on only a couple though, relatively rare, its a nice colour, think it would suit some white rims, one of the few colours that would! wink.gif

Ok Guys-this is gonna put a spanner in the works. Now I actually have the log book- it is described as red. It was the Garage who described it as firecracker orange metallic in the advert. there's actually no mention of that colour anywhere in the paperwork! work that one out.
Anyway I'll get pictures to satisfy!!! confused.gif tongue.gif
