ive got a 94 gt with 173xxx mi. it has had new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and timing belt and waterpump so its in good running shape.
lately about 2 times a day my clutch pedal has not been coming back the whole way so i figured it was the slave cylinder. so i put some fluid in it and it still does 1 or 2 times a day and thats it, so recently when i looked at the fluid in the slave cylinder it was still full and my brake fluid level had gone down. is it possible that its not my slave cylinder and i have a leak somewhere else. has anyone else had this problem. thanks This post has been edited by gone9420: Apr 11, 2007 - 10:46 AM |

just bleed the slave cylinder, there's probably just a little air in the system.

no the slave cylinder (which is located on the front of the tranny) for the clutch line needs to be bled, that's why the pedal doesn't come up properly.
the low fluid in the brake master clyinder (that's were you add fluid - bolted to the firewall) is a completely different problem. -------------------- |
