94-95 had a front fascia with 5 posts (looks like its 'smiling')
96-99 had a front fascia with 3 posts and 2 foglights

Coupes were discontinued after 1997 (96?)
STs were discontinued after 1997

98-99s had a different steering wheel

this is all off the top of my head so I could be missing some vital changes... so feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Depending on when the vehicle was made and which plant in Japan the 96 - 99 had 3 or 5 posts and some didn't have same fog lights - this info from a guy I knew that traveled to Japan - evidently there was a manufacturing problem at several points from 96-99 and they went back and forth on the front ends - can anyone out there confirm there 96-99 Celi having 5 posts vs 3?

I think that the GT only lost horsepower in California(Where it makes 130hp@5400 rpm because of emissions requirements).

In 1996 and 1997, the 7A-FE only produces 105 hp@5200 rpm, down 5 horsepower from the '94 and '95 models. However, in 1996 and 1997, the 7A-FE produces 117 lbs.-ft. of torque@2800 rpm, up 2 from the '94 and '95 models.

And to gh0st_d0g, the coupe was discontinued after 1998.
