What is the best motor to put in a 1994 GT besides the 2.0 turbo? Does toyota have any newer motors that would make the king of swaps? I want to make alot of power with turbo and nos and am planing to put this in a GT4 clone.

I think the king of all swaps would be an AWD 1MZ-FE v-6 with a TRD supercharger. That sounds awsome to me! Plus its a newer motor than the 3sgte

I was thinking more in the lines of a newer 4cyl. A v6cyl would add waight and engine cooling problems and alot of extra fab work.

The weight shouldnt be too much of an issue considering the benefit. But the fabrication and amount of work involved, sure could detour most from wanting to take on this type of swap.

Actually the newest version of the 3S is newer than the 1MZ.
There is a newer larger MZ though. The 3MZFE. It's a 3.3.

But the King of V6 swaps would be the 2GRFE.
3.5L dual VVTi.....
And the Lexus versions have direct injection available...

Slaps the MZ all over the table. biggrin.gif

It's even available in AWD config on the Rav4.

Dunno if it would fit in a 6th gen though.

I believe the 1MZ is. Or right about the same weight.
I don't know if the 3MZ is as well.

Try 3UR-FE if you have enough space.
Or be realistic and stick with 3sgte.
With proper modifications, it will make enough power more than you need.

you are right, the 1mz is lighter. the 3mz should be as well since it is essentially just a bored out 1mz

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

3S-GTE mounted lengthwise with FMIC and RWD using the ST205 rear suspension.

Using the 6 speed IS200 3S-GE tranny to transfer power from the engine.
