I think that this depends only on you, if you love your car then go for it, if you use your car ONLY as a "Working horse", when why mess with it smile.gif

Myne ST has 86K miles (136000 km) on, and i never asked something like this my self, cuz i love this car and i will never sell it, and i will do everything to make it look THE BEST smile.gif

yea, its all just if you think its worth it. 100K is just a number, it all depends what happened to the car within those 100K miles. these cars can last well over 300K miles if you treat em properly. it sounds like you are going for a performance machine with the other cars you listed, so i would say if you dont figure on doing an engine swap, do very minor things to make it nice and fun to drive, and save up for one of those other cars, and use the celica as a daily driver and winter car.

Yes after all I have done to get me a celica st, I am really disappointed in its performance, but I still like it some what... I use to like its styling, but I guess I have gotten use to it and its not impressive any more... I also liked the fact that it look some what like the supra, but better inside, but that has gotten old... I use to not take chances with it and now I find my self taking chances even when I tell my self not to try to accelerate like mad and not to try to get from point a to point b doing 65 or higher (the roads I travel are traffic city and take a long time to get any where so if you are doing 65 or better you are passing every one and not worring about the cars coming toward you)... Sometimes I can stop my self from doing all that, but I am just really disappointed in it, and some body I know has a mazda protege and he told me if I hated my celica that bad that I should just mod it and see if that gave me some pride in it... well, I have done the detailing work, but when I am outside the car it just seems like any other car, but when I am inside I am a whole different person... But right now, typing this out I think my Celica is just a car... But if I were to run to my local gas station about 10 miles away, I would think of it almost like having everything I want in a car... I don't know how to describe it any more than that...

SO IF I DO MODIFY IT, WILL IT BE ABLE TO MEET MY DESIRES AND SOME OF THE NEEDS AS WELL...

Thanks Yal...

yes it can, with an engine swap and some suspension work you will be keeping up with almost anything, there is alot of mods out there and more are comming such as tein coilovers. With a 3sgte swap you can easily have over 300 hp, and your car will perform good in a straight line and handle like its on rails. If your bored with the looks of the car you can change that too, look at peoples sigs, doggy has a sweet looking individual ride, and there are alot of "bolt on" options too.

My 94 ST has about 133,300 miles on it, and I plan on modding it. No time in the near future of course. When the time comes I'm looking forward to rebuilding and going ST-T biggrin.gif

Then when my 94 stops running, I'll look for a GT and a 3S-GTE biggrin.gif
