so the junkyards near me have a decent toyota selection considering how long they last. are there any bigger throttle bodies that bolt on (not scared to port the intake mani a little) and work?

I dont think there are any throttles that are a easy direct swap for the 7afe.
Bitter, you seem to like 7afe performance, have you ever read this thread before? 7afe N/A I'm not trying say anything negative. I just want to refer you to a good read and something you might be interested in. |

thats way more work than i can do to this car, would be cool tho. i'm looking for, sadly, things that swap in pretty easily and pistons arent on that list. i have however already advanced my timing to +5 of stock and changed up some other things as per my signature and its been a noticeable difference from how it came to me.
i have a safc2 that i've been meaning to put in, and i was just thinking along about other things that could be relatively easily done with junkyard parts since one by me has a 1/2 price sunday :-D. i think i'll take my caliper with when i go there next and measure some stuff and look at some things. if it uses the same IAC hookup and and same throttle sensor or my sensor will swap to it and the bolts line up, i'll give it a whirl i guess. i'll let you all know what i find there when i get out there. -------------------- |

I missed that thread some how, thnx for posting. Seems like it's turbo or nothin' for the 7a. As for me (living in the snow) I think the 4th or 5th gen all trac is looking real good, only problem now is finding one...
