there are rumors going around that Toyota is redesigning the Supra for release in late '07/early '08.
with two trim levels, the I6 convertable, and the V8 hatch. The V8 is supposedly going to push out ~450BHP.

anyone else hear about this??

That's what they went for back in the 90's. Probably why they didn't sell well, leading to stop in production.

There will be no new supra, the supra name is dead. This new car is nicknamed "Son of Supra". Rumored to be a v6 and v8 model, no I6. If speculations are correct, look for the FT-HS concept. Toyota will not just sit around while Nissan goes worldwide with their new Skyline. Toyota even said themselves that they want to fill the empty space in their lineup with a real sports car. Stay tune.....

dont forget the good news, the fths got the greenlight for production as a 2009 model! it probably wont end up looking like the concept, but damn, its good to hear toyota is making another proper sports car.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

that car design looks retarted simple as that. way to boxy.. to me looks much more like.. a show car than a daily driving sports car..

i pray the design isn't like that..

i'll want one right away, but i know i also want to wait to see what kind of performance aftermarket develops for the bigger motor.

if the 2GR keeps growin, i'll just go the V6 route tongue.gif
