Newcelica.org is having there summer meet up at lake berryessa on july 14th its a pot luck BBq and we wanted to extend the invitation to you guys as well! here is the link to the thread:

This is the Official Lake Berryessa Meet that you all have been waiting for. Just another gathering to talk, check out at everyone's car/progress, and to catch up on things. This is pretty much a CHILL and RELAX meet....Hang out, grab some Food, and have fun!

For the first timers, this is YOUR chance to come out and meet new and friendly people, and enjoy the day with fellow Celica owners and enthusiasts.

**You are welcome to bring friends family and children seeing as this is the lake and a bbq!**


All gen celicas are also welcome!!!

Directions

Time: 11am - Whenever

Food: Will be potluck style so please bring something. when you confirm you are going please post what you are bringing also so we can see what we need. If you dont want to bring something then please contact me and we can work something out.

Activites: there will be a Professional photoshoot as well as an amature one

Weather: Hot as hell! we will be right up on the lake so feel free to bring swim attire and u can take a dip!

Once again, please bring good and positive attitudes to the meet. No drama, and please don't do anything that can bring unwanted attention from law enforcement.

**If you miss this meet you will miss one of the greatest meets of all time!!**

there is a surprise for all in attendance!

Its a really long drive for me so I was wondering who else is going so i can decide whether to come. Will there be lots of 6 gens and 5th gens there cuz I dont really wanna see the new ones. Please lemme know

This potluck is hosted by NewCelica.org. I'm pretty sure you're going to see more 7th gens than you'd like. As for the drive, it's a long drive for everyone attending from the bay area. There is a caravan out of Union City though.

I'm usually at these meets just haven't made up my mind on this one yet.

I'm considering it, but I tend to flake sometimes so I try not to confirm until the night before. ha!

so far there is approx. 25 folks attending from the bay area and sac area. DippedInSauce looks like the only confirmed 6gcer.

HERE ARE THE DIRECTIONS

Lake Berryessa is located 70 miles northeast of San Francisco and 40 miles west of Sacramento. Nearest towns are Napa to the southwest or Winters to the east. Nearest highways are state highways 121 and 128.

From I-80 (San Francisco) – Take I-80 northbound to Fairfield; exit Suisun Valley Road (which eventually turns into Wooden Valley Road) and go west/north; turn right on Highway 121 toward Lake Berryessa; to reach the Reclamation Headquarters, Visitor Center, Capell Cove Boat Launch, and two Day Use Parks, turn left at Moskowite Corners on Highway 128; turn right on Knoxville Road, and follow the signs.

might as well move my name to the definately not going list. Even if I did get my car running without any leaks by then, I still wouldn't have an exhaust or anything yet. so I don't think my car could be ready in time. frown.gif
