First up I have a Stock 96' E-ST202; I am currently putting together a list of materials I need to bring it up a few notches. I have just about 6 months before I start working on it, so I want to do as much research as possible so I don't have issues when I start work. Also I'm planning on doing a lot of the work myself with the help of my mechanic. Last thing; I live in the Caribbean so my Celi is Japanese biggrin.gif ... Please anybody feel free to say what you think, I need real honest and straight advice...

Here are my ideas so far:

Engine:
For now I only want to convert the Automatic Transmission to Manual because I just can't stand that lazy automatic...

Exterior:
-Full body kit (suggestions please)
-18" Rims w/proper tires
-Not too obvious but nice rear wing
-Maybe change headlights and tail-lights (something shiny-er)
-Lambo Doors

Interior
-Leather seat covers or racing seats
-Double DIN head unit (Touch Screen, DVD, MP3, etc...) Thinking of Panasonic CQ-VD6503U
-New mids (possibly explods), tweeters and two 8" subwoofers in the rear
-Carbon fiber dash panels, and door controls

Please any advice or opinions is welcome, thanks much....

For headlights and tails go JDM projectors and JDM tails. Body kit wise I don't really like body kits. Go for the gt4 front end conversion. Although 18"s will fit, I'd rather go 17" for a smoother ride. O yeah definately upgrade your suspension.

94 Celica st black DD (bad weather beater)- totaled deer
95 Celica gt silver- chassis sold
88 Celica All-Trac (Burned to a crisp)
94 Celica gt white (sold)

In need of a rust free chassis!!!!

if you're going with lambo door get the invader kit it goes nice with lambo doors
wheels go with 17 with 215/45/17
headlamps taillights go with JDM projectors and JDM highs + JDM taillights
get a duck tail instead of a wing, the stock wing don't look good with invader and teh TRD or GT 4 wings are big and you sadi you don't want that.

for the interior you have everything well selected I 'd just say go with racing seats so they match the aggresive look of the body kit.

MAN!!! I love to see this car...... I'm gonna look into the Invader kit and see how it goes... While looking around here I found the JDM Headlights and Tail-lights.. I like those too...

I need a suggestion on a good VDC kit for the doors.. I would prefer a bolt on kit that doesn't involve welding and so on.. like I said I'm gonna be taking up most of the work myself...

I also need a suggestion as to the transmission conversion.. my mechanic says he can do it but I need a kit of some sort if I want a good setup.... anyone know where I can find one??? JAPANESE (if there's a difference at all smile.gif)

Thanks much for the responses so far....

Sorry about the long delay.....

The engine is a 3S-FE; I really would like to know what parts I need or if there is a complete kit or something to do the AT to MT swap... or is possible to just tell the Toyota people that I'm doing a transmission swap and he'll know what I need????? kindasad.gif

Other thing, I realized that I already have the JDM tail-lights biggrin.gif so I only need the projectors and highs now... but I have a stock 3-post spoiler; I decided I would prefer the 2-post SS-III spoiler with raiser blocks, it has the simple look I was looking for... only problem is I have no idea where to find them.... I got a part number somewhere around here but no dealer I ask can find it for me.... any ideas???

One more thing.. I'm in Mexico now and found these rims at 17"... what do you guys think?

with the spoiler i am going the same route. ssIII style. your best bet is just buying someones 2 poster off here for about 80 shipped then getting the risers off doggy. he makes replicas for 175 shipped. about the tranny swap, there is a how to on here that you can look at that should have all the info that you will need.
