My cd player isnt recieving power out of the amp in my car. I have power going into the amp but not out into the harness and to the deck. Is my factory amp gone???

Well are u sure ur headunit(cd player)is good,i mean is it brand new,how is the amp?We need more info!

MY cd player blew with the amp i believe. I have power coming into the amp but not out sugesting that my am p has blown. i believe that my deck blew with the amp.

well, if what you say is true, then yes, your amp is fried.
i had the same problem and somehow fried my amp. i think the casing of the amp is grounded and a live wire touched it or something..
anyway, you'll need to find another amp.

Check the fuse on the cdplayer maybe it just blew if it did just replace it and it should work. wink.gif

ya ive been way past that i have had the test light out at work checking the harness and i didn't get power to it. i routed my power around the harness and amp and my deck still doesn't work anymore. i ordered a new amp and hopefully it works.
