I wrote about this guy in another thread, but I'll post it here for everyone else. I cam across a guy named Joshua, his website is:

www.izntrbl.com

He will make custom projector headlights (with different features, like angel eyes, LEDs, etc) for practically any car. He also makes custom clear lenses for headlights and taillights. He does a lot of J-Body parts, but he can probably make Celica parts for us who want tastefully done custom taillights and who can't afford $700 (give or take) for a full set of JDM Projectors. Want a clear LED 3rd brake light? He'll make it.

The only "catch" is that you need to provide the stock headlights. He will add projectors w/ chrome or black bezels, LEDs or Angel Eyes (if you want) and trim rings, for $300, which covers one complete set (pair) of headlights, both left and right. You can even get HID kits as well, w/ quality conversion harnesses. So you can have Celica projector headlights for $300, which don't need to be modified for left hand drive.

The cool thing, I did a little research, his customer service is impressive. He will make things right and from what I read, he'll do it at no cost to the customer. If a lense was too thin or scratched, he sent a replacement right away and didn't even ask for shipping. That's cool in my book.

I know he doesn't have a Celica but he does have a nice Sunfire on Cardomain, LOL.

Look under Member ID# 41511123.

I'm not much for 4drs but his cars are nice. I don't know him personally, but the quality of his work speaks for itself. Maybe we can get a group buy going, what do you say guys?

Sounds very interesting. I'd be up for a set of taillights.

Like I said in another thread, he's on my list of people to call and ask. Provided he's down for some work, I'll get him a set Nader so you won't have to worry bout parking that thing while he's working..... But I'm going to be blown away impressed if he retrofits a projector, does a custom housing and lens for $300.... I'd buy a LOT of them if this is the case

would that be HID projectors for the $300 pricetag??? i'd be VERY impressed if he could do all that including labour for $300... that's like.. 1/2 what i paid...

but then would the new lens be plastic? so they would yellow out over time right?

acutally , i was just j/k , i am getting a paint job some time next year , i can just send him my lights then ... i will email or call him to check his prices , projectors go for arround 560+ a pair , and they are technicly illegal , if he can does it for less and has a good customer service then it might be better than buying JDMs

I own a 95 Toyota Celica, and I would really like some projectors made by you.

My OEM headlights are made with a glass covering, but it would be better for mass production if you made them with plastic covering.

Getting JDM projectors for my low beams costs about 600 dollars, because of importing and the fact that they're new OEM products.

if you could let me know what you can do, and what you need to make this project work; let me know.

Have a nice day.

hello lovo. i am sorry, but i will not be able to mass produce due to i have many many orders that come in as it is, and can not add a mass to the mix. i also build these on the weekends with my spare time. with that said, your pricing will be:

300.00= labor
350.00= materials (projectors, HID kits, harnesses, etc.)
100.00= custom made clear lenses
50.00= chroming (for more oem stock look. if not, they will be gloss black)
30.00= shipping

i will need you to supply me a set of lights to work with, or i can purchase a set for you, and charge you the cost.

thank you lovo, and if you have any questions, let me know. have a great day sir!

Am I the only one here misreading this ?

if I get this right he's saying

300 ( labor ) + 350 ( materials ) + 100 (custom made clear lenses ) = gloss black housing and if you want it chrome add 50.00

that's US$750.00 black or US$800.00 ( chrome finish )

Plus US$30.00 shipping.

I may be getting this wrong but I think that's what he's saying. he just broke it down so we know what cost what.

i might get him to make the covers and take over from there... i mean the inside of the headlight wouldn't be too hard to fit a projector in... would it?

making it look good would be the hard part, i think...

It's still not an easy task... I've completly taken apart both my custom DCW projectors and JDM projectors and looked at the inner workings quite a bit... The housing piece is the hardest IMO, but making the retrofitted projector sit well is also a tedious task. But he says that he can do clear lenses for $100 which is pretty good. I called him today with no reply but I'll call again tomorrow. If he can indeed do the lenses for 100 for the lows and maybe slightly lower for the highs then I'd be more than willing to write up a how-to or whatever that would show how to make a nice inner housing piece for the highs
