It's not like you couldn't do that to a 6th gen. Just depends on how deep your pockets are.

yea dude, u can just get the DeCah hinge and modify it like everyone else. like 50% of the cars that have lambo doors have em custom like that. i've heard its not amazingly difficult. its on my list of things to do.

edit: um that says ALL YEARS and it looks like its just the autoloc hinge, cuz it says it includes suicide door instructions too. but actually it looks like that is just the manual on how to do it. but hey, for just a dollar its worth lookin into it if you were gonna do the conversion anyway. if it is the autoloc hinge or instructions, then it doesn't matter, it'll work on a 6gc just as well as a 7gc. i doubt you get the actual hinge or anything, but it isnt too hard to make at your local hardware store. just need a wrench, prolly a welding iron, and a few lil hydraulic actuators. lambo doors for less than $100 prolly. how dependable are they? who knows?

Theres a company that will make them for our cars, but like always u gotta have like 10 pre orders. And the kit is like $1200. Id pay it though I want those doors so bad. It would look so cool on our rides.

Does any one have a pic of them on our cars. If so Post it please.........

I just edited mine, so now they both should work. I'll take a look at the code though, because some people have been having problems with the site. frown.gif

If you click here, you can see a photo of the car with the Lamborghini-style doors.

If you are really interested in doing Lambo on your 6gc, there is almost always an instructional CD on E-bay for like $5 or something, the guy just took notes and pics while he did his, all you really need after that is the kit, and the time. (lots of time and custom fab by the way!) A buddy of mine did this to his acura, and said it was worse than doing suicide doors on his pontiac.
