Ok, here is the deal. When I am driving around normally with fairly low rpms 2nd gear just slides into place like all the other ones. But, when I am racing and have the rpms pegged I got to throw it into second and it feels like it catches on something. It almost wants to grind for a second and then it will fall into gear. What the ****!! Any opinions on what this might be?

I think it sounds like it might be your second gear synchro acting up. It only does this when you're shifting really quickly?

I would try to push in the clutch once and then let off the press it again then shift.

I will try the double shifting. I hate doing it though cus it take so long. Anyway, is this something that I can take in and have fixed or just something I have to deal with?

I have the same thing on a smaller scale. Going into third really fast I can occasionally crunch it by having the stick to far to the left when pushing it up. For me I think this is because my car is RHD, and I am pushing the stick too far over with my left arm, and it happens more when I am pushing the car through right hand corners fast. So the whole inertia thing.

Anyways I'm rambling like an old man, which side do you crunch it on? the right?

Ok, I tried double shifting and it still does it. I am going to take it in tomorrow cus I hate it so bad, and when I am racing next to someone they probably think I am grinding my gears like some am.
