Ohw finally! It took me over a month of gathering peices and hardware and countless hours and sweat and tears and days of pissing my GF off but its finally over...my retrofit it 100% sucessful!
So what you get when you mix lexus denso ballasts, philips 4300K bulbs, FX35 bi-xenon and custom clear lens??? JDM projector looking headlights but BETTER! -by the way I still need to install shrouds over the projectors to finish off the look..I didn't receive them yet In the process I experimented with the headlights Here's with the stock headlight : And here's with a clear lens...really ****ty! For those thinking of buying clear lens, this is what you get! and HIDs before I adjusted the pitch and rotation...and just one for that matter I'm sorry for the NIGHT pics, this camera suck ass and I was too excited..and its late, I had to post it hah! I will post more daytime picture tomorrow, promise. If some of you want this, I will offer a HID retrofit service soon and even sell clear lens if you don't have any. -thanks for looking! the shrouds cut the top of the light off so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic?

look good but it would be better if you got a tsx lens or a celica lens and put it on replacing the oem lens on the f35 ..be more sharper then the lens u got on the f35 right now
what shrouds you talkng bout?there should only be a shroud to over the projector up soo you wont see the whole projector body...its a cutoff line you seeing right now on the picture..other then that..i dont see he have any shroud over his projectors This post has been edited by XxAxnCelica95xX: Aug 3, 2007 - 12:01 AM -------------------- As the time goes by My life change... I'll be putting rx330 shrouds. -The cut-off pic I have sucks, I'll be getting a new one soon. -------------------- -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |

very nice! hids w/ projectors is always > hids w/ reflectors.
just for every1's information: customlightz.com does this for $750USD (matching tsx projectors, new bulbs, matsu****a gen3 ballasts, tsx projector mod, painting inside of housing, labour, shipping all included) i believe supradog got it done there too. they do group buys. the civic forum i'm on is having a group buy from them. for every 10members u get $50 off but rayme, i wanna know if you hv this problem too, the way our cars are designed, the low beams are really far back from the very front of the front bumper and i get light reflecting off of the rounded part of the bumper surrounded the lowbeam, i can see 2 curvy things above my light output because of it. but it's very minor. -------------------- |

If some people are interested I could probably do a retrofit for around 550$ depending on equipment used -lens included, more to come later QUOTE looking really good... What are you using for lenses? Ok guys, the whole reason to do all this..night shots!
Ok first, a day shot with everything done A low beam close-up with my custom lens High beam close-up, still with my custom lens Behind the scene shot...I still have to put a cover back there to isolate the igniter From the side AND HERE FINALLY..the lovely cut-off!! Another good thing with this retro..I now have 4 high beams!!! This is killer!!! Beam close-ups at night...no glare or light leak whatsoever. The front spread on the road: And lets finish with some really cool shots If anybody has questions, ask me! I'll do my best to answer! -------------------- -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |

nice pics.. but from those pics, you DO have the same problem i do of the light reflecting off the bumper. (those 2 things that shine onto the wall in the middle above the cutoff)

(those 2 things that shine onto the wall in the middle above the cutoff) I would suppose so but I would not call that a problem at all, its pretty meaningless, doesn't affect the pattern or incoming drivers. -------------------- -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |
