thats a bit different...it would cooler if you still had one seat back there, or at least the seat backings or somethin so you wouldnt see into the trunk

i dont know what to do with my 2 12s the box itself takes up the whole trunk space and i dont want to remove the spare and i want to have easy acsess to the spare any ideas plz tell even if it means relocating the spare .......but my amp used to be screwed to the box till i also herd the vibrations can damage it so i moved it to the back of the seats as well.....but i think it just depends on the kind of amp you got iv seen some wild amps with digital temp gage on them along with a compleat plexy glass body with more fans then i can count, will prolly reach from strut to strut in trunk noe that i think can rattle apart with all thos gagets in it

QUOTE(lagos @ Jun 17, 2007 - 9:50 PM) i need my trunk space, so i flush mounted them. they also have steel grills over them so that i can put stuff right on top and not damage anything. I really like that idea and wanna do something similar. did you build a box for them at all? -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

I know space would be tight, but I figure with a shallow sub you might just be able to make space for a (very) small box. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

^^^ cali's right ^^^
you would use mdf for your top but you use fiberglass to get maximum airspace from the well plus it would sit real snug in your car making it sound better too. |

I'd like to know what lagos did. Did he make a custom fiberglass enclosure?
I just like really clean subtle set-ups. I'd like the amp and all wiring to be out of sight and I just want one 10" sub. I plan on putting a 3-point rear strut bar back there, as well as relocating the batter back there. not only that, but I want it all as lightweight as possible. no 50lb boxes or anything like that. I also still want to have trunkspace... sigh, I guess I just want too many things, lol. I haven't figured it all out yet. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
