i need a manual transmission drain plug, for my 96 celica st. i striped it putting new gear oil....please i really need it...

Mine is missing! Me too! For the time being I used a wine bottle cork that I took a knife to and shaved the bottom a bit to make it fit. I screwed it in so I could take it out when I go to replace it with an actual plug.

go to a junkyard... find a corolla/tercel/celica with C series tranny (C50/C52) and get it. Or find the size?thread pitch of the bung, go to your local hardware store... ask for a threaded plug that will fit. Surely better than a cork.
