This is a long shot, but find your paint code and then click at the lexus/toyo website below and see if you can find your color.

Toyota colors generally start with the prefix "C/TR" and the code will be three digits long, followed by more info.
Ex. CTR202/LA09. 202 will be the color code. Your location will always be in the drivers door jamb.

The 1997 US factory brochure lists the name of the color as Sunburst Pearl.

Well, i'd have to say the best bet for you would be to go to a toyota dealer and have them get you some touch up paint. Toyota has huge books here in the states that they use to determine exact coolors for touch up paint ordering, and my guess would be its no different for the uk. Bummer about the scrape, though... I dont know about the exact name for your color in the uk, however, because ive noticed in different countries, colors are the same, but have different names. I do know that it is the same shade that we had in the states known as Sunburst Pearl, however, so you may want to try that. There is a large picture of a Celica GT liftback in the 97 us brochure in sunburst pearl- and it looks exactly the same to me. Good luck!

thanks- yeah I suspect that is the colour- I'll do that-it should sort the problem out.(oh the scrape is barely visible- it's right under the bumper, so it's not too bad!) cheers

my car is Renaissance red as well, and in some pictures, in different parts of the world, under different lighting, it can look anything from light light red, to almost a dark maroon. wink.gif. but i'm not sure what colors Toyota offered in the later years, if that red was even an option. iono. just a guess. smile.gif
