Here it is, on my celi, the heater motor won't run, but there's 12v and ground on the connector (directly on the motor) But when I test the motor directly on the battery, with jumper wires, the motor works!! Did I miss something here? kindasad.gif Anyone have an idea? confused.gif

The motor, installed on the car, will not work, at neither speed. Just forgot to mentioned. So I dont think that is the resistor kindasad.gif

Ok I'll check for that, thanx kerosene! Just realize one thing though, There's 12v on the motor connector only when it's disconnect from it! When connected, I'm backprobing the connector ans there's nothing. The motor is it short to ground? Cuz when I jump it direct to the battery, it works, anyway, I'm totally busted with that:/

Yes, there's one in the engine bay(40A), one under the dash (20A) and another one just beside the heater motor (10A), all are ok. Thanx alot kerosene, I see you're trying to help, I apreciate it smile.gif The thing that I don't understand, is that there's 12v when unplug, knob to "HIGH" and nothing when plugged. I could try my hubby's motor, but don't want to blow it.

actually you know what... check the other fuses... when I had my issue, it was similar, it wouldn't blow ... it came up that one of the light fuses was f***ed... it was the most random thing, just go through em, one by one see if they are all good... next possibly try your motor in your hubbys car.... that way you dont take the chance of blowing his motor... hmm pm me if I can help you in any way, ill give you my msn/aim whichever... that way will be quicker responses

Ok I've found the problem.

Here it is, The blower was not functionning at all. First, I've cheked all the fuses. Take care, there's one nearby the blower motor:
IPB Image
All the fuses were good. Then I've check the voltage and the ground at the blower connector by backprobing it, I had 12v and the ground was good to. Next, I disconnect the blower, and with jumper wires, I connect it directly to the battery. The blower was running well, but once again, when all was connected right, the blower wasn't running. I disconnect the blower again, and check voltage, nothing!!! Stange isn't it? So then I suspected the rotary switch, I remove it from the car, and I opened it, suspecting bad contacts in it. Nothing once again. Then I've check the 12v entry, from the car, it was short to ground!!! The faulty wire is the White/Black:

Since that wire runs almost the entire car (so to speak), I've cut it, and run a new wire, from the fuse box to that white/black wire. And now, everything works just well. You see, even with short circuit, fuses didn't burn. And the 12v that I had when backprobing was the current "intended" for the blower relay, making it's way to the blower. Not enough to make the blower works, but enough to confuse me though. Just hoping this could help, if someone here encounter that problem one day. I'd like to thank Kerosene for his help!
