Im looking to change out my IHI RHB52 turbo from my 7AFTE. Somehow im having the feeling the IHI RHB turbo wasnt that tough and lasting (i change 2 units frm in 2 years) and current unit i can foresee its going soon. I tried once wrx td04L on my 7AFTE setup and its very responsive, suits city boosting but i still prefer IHI midrange power.
so im looking for next option. Td05 or T25. I reckon td05 is slightly bigger thn T25 but alot of plp telling me garrett turbo is very lasting. need you guys opinion and feedback here. |

I think...
T25 is probably the size of a TD03/TD04 T4 would be much closer to a TD05/TD06 what kind of flange does the IHI have ? for a 7afte a T3 60-1 would be a good turbo -------------------- 2005 MB C200 Kompressor- K&N, Apexi WS2 Catback, DIY Voltage stabilizer, Intrax Springs, H&R RR swaybar, VDO Boost Gauge @ 6psi, Greddy L7 plugs, +0 Rear tires

Its a triangle flange. So if im not changing the flange, i can only go VF series turbo and some old sti td05. Vf turbo to me is overpriced.
Im looking to gain boost at around 2200rpm and hit max ideally before 4500rpm. My max rev is 6200rpm. If were to based on top, T3 abit too big right? |

TD05 EVOIII 16G, many 1.8L - 2.5L applications make excellent midrange power with it. Expect around 300whp with 660cc injectors.
