im looking for a low weight, high tire mass set of wheels. thinking no bigger that 16s, but i want atleast an 8in width...

there a daydream i had today to aid in the traction issue the 3sgte swap incounters

im confused.... on earth, mass == weight.... so are you looking for heavy tires or lights ? i THINK you want light tires, large surface/contact area ?

i think he means low weight rims that are wide to be able to put wider thicker tires (more tire mass).

I have a few suggestions.

245/45/16 Yokohoma AVS ES100 [requires 7.5-9in wheel]
your choice of wheels, its hard finding 16x8 and a good offset..

I would really suggest a set of 245/40/17 [Potenza RE-01R]
On 17x8 5Zigen FN01RC

The wheels are 16-17 LB a piece and those tires are sticky hell.

thats exactly what i wanted to say...
its a bad idea to try and post something in a hurry before work* i didnt take enough time to read what i wrote, sorry

i wanted to find the lightest weight set of rims, that would fit very wide tires. almost like a deepdish*

Its easier to find wider, but wider that will fit?

Something a little wider.. no clue about price..

Work XD9 17x8.5 +32 Offset.
