On that count, you would have few people that would disagree with you. Now, take a lude woman. Ya left that part out, which addresses the conversion part. No one actually asked for specific responses regarding technical stuff vs. aesthetic stuff. I just chose to address the aesthetic aspect is all. I'm goin' to take my 'lude now -------------------- |

Like I said, I appreciate the time and energy and creative thinking that went into it. IMO a conversion involves more than just mechanical knowledge to be successful, it should be fluid and seamless in both looks and functionality. Being that I'm not standing in front of the car, I can only go by how it looks. To me it looks kind of "choppy" and unrefined.
It's just my opinion though, and since I'm still really new at this, I certainly don't tout myself as any kind of authority! mmm, 'ludes.... -------------------- |

Hate to say it but the 6GC and 7GC should not be combined like this..
everyone knows that the 6GC is about its smooth curves and grace.. As the 7GC is to its sharp edges and aggressive corners.. ALSO Lambo doors are for Lambos lol.. [Flame Suit ON!] Back to the vehicle, the conversion is clean, not tacky with panels misaligned and by inches. |

My opinion is very similar to the one said by GriffGirl in her first reply...
To me the 7th gen looks quite cool, but only after you change some parts of the suspension which will lower it down a bit, and those tiny wheels (what are those...14" or something ), but seing the 6th gen and 7th gen one beside the other on autostrada in Italy this summer (yes...PECM it was), the 7th gen looks like some poor Hyundaish half baked product... The 6th gen however (and Iīm not saying that in favour of just the GT4 but the ST, and GT also) looks like a proper sportscar...wide, round and very sleek...and not just compared to the 7th gen, but also Honda Prelude, Hyundai Coupe (Tiburon in the USofA), Eclipse and others... There is another thing in my mind about the two...the 6th gen is an OLD car, and STILL looks far more attractive completely stock, than most of the cars made today, while 7th gen looks probably pretty cool today, but how will it compare when the examples on the road surpass some 10 years of age...I think not very good. So, needless to say that mixing these two cannot be cool...ever! IMHO of course... AFAIK the only car that looks even remotely cool with front end taken from the next model in the evolution would be the 200 SX...and thatīs it. I think thats a mint looking conversion. ditch the doors muffler and tails and that car has ALOT of potential to look awesome. very unique.

Seems like he had problems with pannels not lining up before he converted. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't prefer the 6th gen front end (expecially GT4) over the 7th gen. Although I definatly feel the rear end of a 6th gen isn't that great (I may be alone here) and the 7th is definatly better round the back. That said, you can't have a 6th front, 7th rear because it just wont tie up, much the same as the 7th front, 6th rear example here doesn't work.
The best thing out of a 7th has to be the seats, it's hard to see, but I think he has them, so possibly better inside than out. |

based on the picture, the reason things aren't lining up is because he hit something. hence the damage to the front bumper. but i guess, he had to replace a few things to the front end and decided he might as well try doing a conversion
