Hey guys.. Iam looking for a header for a 1994 toyota celica ST 1.8L.... I was told HP Motorsport makes one that bolts on and Hp motorsport is good quality... I cant seem to find any where to buy 1.. please some 1 help me... If you know of ne other headers that are good.. just leave em here and ill check em out.. Thanx

go to the bottom of the threads page till' you see "keyword" then type in -ST Header- and youll find some answers.

umm last time checked Nopi does not carry any header whether it be 1.8 or 2.2, I keep up to date with nopi regularly. Maybee a while they had it but definitley not now.

ya if you use the search you will find some threads with places to buy the header. they carry the headers but its for a corolla. Go to 97 corolla and they have the headers the corolla has the same 1.8L as the celica st

go to the how to section of this site, the corolla header needs to be extended to fit, the celica engine bay is a lot bigger than that of a corolla

Absolutely correct...a Corolla header needs to be extended by about 3"-4".
Also, you may need to get another 02 sensor. The corolla header I got had a flange fitting sensor on the collector where as my OEM header has a screw-in type in the 2-1 section of the header. Also FYI a corolla OBX High-Flow cat (ref.: CAT113) is a direct fit with Greddy SP exhaust and aftermarket header. However, if fitting it to the OEM 2-1 section of the header the holes in the flange need to be enlarged slightly to fit. |

Everybody talks about extending the header.
However, I had a thought - I'm looking into extending the Greddy SP rather than the header. Why? It's easier to extended a long straight tube than the mandrel bent SS header tubing. (May have to modify the header bracket though - but that's not big deal). |

The reason I extened the header as opposed to the Exhaust is because (on my ST at least...) there is a sensor on the exhaust manifold downpipe on the Celicas, while the Corollas don't have the sensor. I basically cut the stock downpipe (with the O2 bung), and welded it onto the header downpipe. |

That's interesting on my OEM header the screw-in type sensor is in the 2-1 back section of the header. On my Forza header it's a flange type in the manifold downpipe. Makes me wonder whether I need a US ST sensor with flange!? |

so your saying with the obx header/high flow cat/greddy sp you don't need to extend anything? or were you merely saying it lines up with the sp but the piping still needs to be extended? ![]() |

No. The Greddy SP is a direct fit. The OBX high-flow cat is the same length and, apart from enlarging the flange holes of the OEM header, is a direct fit. The Forza header however needs extending.
