i was just wondering what ECU mapping products that can be used with the celica, like how subies and evos have accessport. ive seen MAP-ECU... but is there anything else?

MAP-ECU is a piggybacksystem, like apexi S-AFC and such.
I've tried to find some info over remapping toyota ECU's but it's a pain in the ass.

Received wisdom is that Toyota/Yamaha did a pretty good job with the ECUs in the Celica and it is actually quite difficult to get any benefit from remapping. Having said that, Superchips claims their Icon adds 8bhp (7%) to a ST, 10bhp (6%) to a GT and 35bhp (approx 17%) to a GT4.

I'm thinking about buying a spare ECU for my Celica and having it sent in, just to see what it would even do for the Celi. I was on a site somewhere, one of the big name ecu tuners, and they claimed 12 hp on an ST
