Which is a bit cheeky as I'm pretty sure that Tufy has a C-One, not a knock-off. i buyed my bumper from japan. its orginal c one. but c one also makes bumper for st202 that will have no gab. c-5 is copy of c-one wicked bodies and a few more sites like extremedimentions stole my cars photo and use it as i am their costumers. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

Suit them dude. They didn't get your permission to advertise your car as their product. And they aren't even made for the st205 they are made for 202's and 204's. Get money out of them man and give me half because I gave you the idea.

I'm looking to do my GT4 styling conversion soon. I've been looking into the front crashbar issue which I didn't reaslise until after buying the bumper. There seems to be three approaches:
1) Cut the standard ST / GT square crash bar. To me this has Bad idea written all over it so this is out. 2) As per Azian advanced, use a GT4 crash bar and cut the ends to mount to the ST / GT bracket. Seems better but I'm still not convinced about this one 3) I haven't seen a write up on this one, but just heard mention. Get a GT4 crash bar and the right (GT4?) frame brackets: Frame Bracket RH 57201-20060 Frame Bracket LH 57202-20070 This is the option that I'm interested in doing, but can't find enough information. Could someone clarify that if I get at GT4 crash bar and the two frame brackets everything will just bolt together and fit propperly on my ST. i.e. Will the GT4 frame brackets fit onto the ST frame bracket mounts. (Accepting that I will have to extend safety latch and support raised rubber seal) Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this. This post has been edited by SteveHall: Jan 8, 2008 - 8:20 AM |

Cheers, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I was considering selling on the bumper as the idea of loosing so much strengh in the crash bar by cutting seemed like such a bad idea.

What is truly needed for a GT-Four Front conversion? I know there are some clips and things you don't really need. Also what is the difference from cutting the st202 crash bar if you are still going to cut the gt-four crash bar, all in all, cutting is still needed. What is the cheapest way to convert?

I did mine with a actual gt4 parts hood, hood scoops, cowel, gt4 hood latch, gt4 crash bar,gt4 reinforment brackets. gt4 fogs and mounts, gt4 foam thing behind the bumper....etc... i think in all it cost me about 1500 before paint.
