U know how busy QC is gonna b this year?..especialy on a long weekend. Its gonna b pretty crazy there all year long and im pretty sure most people there wouldnt want a bunch of loud imports running through town with some anglaphones driving them.

i'm for sherbrooke for that very reason... except my car is quiet and i'm french.

we should start figuring out a date, it's coming closer and closer

Qc city is a tourists oriented city, and I see no problem with anglaphones driving aroud town with hot import cars, the problem is the streets gonne be jamned and having a cruise there will be a real nightmage I believe. Las year, during Québec day, me and my wife went there, and it took about 1h1/2 running 1km But if some of you want to have this meet on 2 days, mabye we could have the 1st day in sherbrooke, and the second day in Qc city, why not But be advised about the traffic issue

i was just testing the waters. i luv Quebec City that's all. i does make more sense to keep it on the DL and avoid the tourist trap that will be QC this summer. can't blame a guy for trying, eh?

ok..so time for nominations for when to do this. We gotta make sure that every one is gonna have their cars out of storage. So june or july would work for me. I should b able to get time off work then, plus most ppl should b done school. So how about either the weekend of june 14/15? or june 21/22?? As soon as we decide on a date for sure..ill make some phone calls and see if i can get some sponsorships/support from some people..plus i will find a hotel and call them and try and get a group rate.

June 14/15 for me...

hmmm my dad work for the king edward hotel and we all go down to montreal once a year and get discounts on hotels, if i'm given an exact amount of rooms needed to be booked, i can find out how much he MIGHT be able to get it for.

Can I suggest labor day week-end? It's a long week-end for both Canada and US.

If not, I'll say anytime, I don't vote.

I'm alright with the time--I'm done school in end of April anyway, think that should leave me plenty of warm weather time for me to do a few last things before the big event--doubt I'll have the engine though so w/e, i'll just do side-things until then.
