so i know its been about 10 months since i started the swap but what do ya do when you just turned 18 are broke and still in high school. anyways an update she started back in october but with putting on some more mods and stuff and trying to figure out why it wouldnt stay running its finally complete. she started the other day and ran smoother than ever. although i do have some more suspension parts im going to put on in the near future she is in running condition although its god damn winter and i cant drive it. ill get some pictures up asap of the completion and some from along the way. thanks to all those who gave me input when i ran into a problem, huge props to this website i wouldnt have been able to do it without you guys.

did u do the swap ur self?
where'd u grab the engine from?
how much for the whole swap?

Basically if i remember right the basic things you need to make sure you get are, an uncut engine harness, ecu, MAF sensor, and resistor pack. those are the big ones aside from whats on the motor that you really need to worry about. i may have missed some but i think thats it. as for the trans swap it depends on what tranny you go with. theres a good sticky about that somewhere. i also have all GT mounts because im using the s54 tranny with kirkasaurus inserts.

I did the swap by myself in my garage as time permitted and i got the motor off ebay. i dont know if id recommend it but thats the way i went just make sure you find someone reputable.

as for price, its an everlasting thing. i believe in the money ive put in for the swap so far its around 4 g's but ive put in alot of extra stuff. it cost me 2500 for the front clip shipped from japan, and another 800 for all the stuff i needed for the tranny swap. then little things here and there as you find them no good.
