I swore there was a thread on here somewhere but i couldnt find it so sorry if im double posting about the same thing. anyways....
i originally had it red because my ext. color is red but red isnt a good color choice unless u have the perfect material to use for it, so i changed to blue since my headunit is blue... what the original piece was after i popped it out: what i used: the clock off: the clock on: the clock on when its dimmed cuz of the headlights on: **I'll get more pics of it when its dark out but that will be later on tonight** This post has been edited by red94celicast: Feb 26, 2008 - 12:27 PM -------------------- |

cut the green wire on the clock wire harness so that it would not dim when the headlights are on. Yea I agree that red is not a good color choice for the clock unless you have the right material... it's coming out orange or a bit purple-ish.

Its the combination of the green clock display and the red material that makes it not perfectly red. -------------------- -Derick

i used a yellow divider tab and that made mine a nicer looking green. more like a neon green. it goes well because my light color choice is green

QUOTE(gottaknowmo6gc @ Mar 2, 2008 - 10:39 AM) Hey how did you get that little clock piece out? um just kinda knocked it out with the handle side of a screwdriver i think. i actually dont really remember how i took it out, just like push it out or hit it out from the outside. see where i show the clock from the outside, try to knock it off from that side. -------------------- |
