It's ok, just let it out smile.gif . Let's not turn this into a competition. Basically, I've been contemplating about what sticks with us. Some people say that past experiences make us stronger, but I also believe they can hinder us from our future. This is an all out anything goes (along the rules of the forum) from being bullied in High School, or having your parents beat you with that feather duster stick or a backscratcher (those things hurt, my parents upgraded when it didn't hurt me anymore), or you wanted a Buzz Lightyear and all you got were some socks.

I think the worst experience would be high school. I totally hated it, I was a shy guy and didnt make much new friends until the final year of the 4 I was there. I was picked on but not enough to say I was bullied. Actually I was just mostly left alone lol.
I kinda regret that now that shyness's a thing of the past, but they say live and learn..

One time I was out riding my bike around the block and this ice cream truck "lickty split" came around the corner and did not stop at the STOP sign. Next thing I know I was under it and all I could hear was the stupid jingle. I woke up several hours later in the hospital......I hate ice cream trucks..

grew up in a bad neighborhood, by the age of 11 I knew all the different smells of drugs and how they were to be handle for processing, saw guys get shot in front of my door more times than I can remember, my father was a chef so he usually got home really late, he would call home a couple blocks ahead of time so we have the door open for him so he can run in the house. porn was free, right outside the window too, I knew the prices and how long the services last lol. The members that know me can now may understand why I don't drink, smoke, or anything of that matter, it just bring back bad memories, and I kind of grew up with the goal of not becoming one of those guys in my old neighborhood. I understand that moderation is the key, drinking can be very safe if done responsably but it's my choice to stay away from all that, because of what represents for me.

Nice stevenson. I too don't drink or smoke, but this was my choice. I remember, my dad never showed up to any of my games. Probably because he had to work 2 jobs to keep the house. My mom worked too, but that one job paid enough so she didn't have to work two of them like my dad. I would always get rides to practices and games with friends and always wondered if my parents would ever show up just to surprise me. Well they never did, until I got to high school. I guess they didn't really have a reason to take the time to see me play, because as a kid it wasn't so special. Because they never showed up when I was younger I busted my tail and was named team captain and starting quarterback my junior year in high school. But it hurts because I no longer play football and I can see that my dad is crushed by it.

When I was 7 I was picked up by a rather large man who was quite intoxicated and thrown into a bonfire.

oh god everyone's childhood experience are terrible.

The worst experience I had was I got jumped while riding my bike at a park. Some kid starting punching me in the head and his friend did a round house kick to the back of my head. Then they threw my bike into the creek.

one summer day in 05..

mom came home from work, she was tired so she went to sleep.

i went to work 2 hours later, said bye but thought she was sleeping.

4 hours into work i get called home for an emergency.

she died that afternoon in my grandma's bed.

this pretty much ruined my freshman year of college (had lotsa sholarships, grants, etc) and i eventually dropped out of school and stopped working.

this also started my drinking/drug problem.

life is shi!t.

Definitely have to agree here.... almost none of my experiences could even be cleaned up to put up here and still stay within forum rules

back when i was 6 years old, i was playing with a metal hanger. yall know how it is, if you hold one end and swing the other end, it comes back right? well thats exactly what i did (it was disassymbled) and the end came flying right into my right eye. i twisted it and it actually went in deep. all 2 inches went into my eye, my mom recalled. now i have a nice little scar inside right under my eye. nice ey smile.gif
