We need to get something in a sticky .. This is a serious solution to the rear mount problem with out ordering ST205 ****.. Which could take weeks or even months to get depending on the dealership, if the dealership will even be able to get it.

supra12big,

You need to talk to Jeff Watson at Champion Toyota located in Houston, Texas. Their direct number is 1-800-327-2087. Order yourself a rear ST205 engine mount, and be done with it and do it right.

It will bolt right up to the E153 since the ST205 uses a E-series AWD transmission, and they share the same center crossmember so everything will sit just the way its supposed to with your setup.

-Corey

EDIT: To be more specific, you need to order the rear engine mount AND bracket.

Also try ebay.co.uk and search "st205 breaking" - that's how i found mine.

btw, breaking = parting out to uk guys

Dont forget, when you switch over the shift linkages there will be a hole left over where they came out of before. that hole will need to be welded shut so it doesnt leak fluid. you need to find someone who can weld aluminum. i dont have pictures. i remember there was a website with all this info, ill try and find it

Switch over the shift linkages?

Btw, the E153 rear bracket works just fine.. you just need the 205 rubber mount tho.

The e153 bracket is the alltrac and mr2 rear bracket.

edit : you've posted about 5-6 times about this same mount and bracket and the answers are all the same. Why do you keep asking the same questions about this ? If you have a e153 tranny you need to use the st205 mount and bracket, now stop making mulitple posts about it.

edit #2 for a correction, my mistake Eric, I was lost in the #s

Whoa this is getting confusing.

You need an E154 transmission bracket.

E154 is ST205
E150 is ST185
E153 is SW20.

well, i just got a alltrac st185 bracket in, which fits great, but the mount screw inlet(hole where the screw goes through) sits way lower then the brackets hole, will the st205 mount sit higher to screw in, cause don't forget the steering shaft is right by there, and only a 1inch away

o, and can anyone show me a pic of a st205 mount please, i have been searching

I am going to beat you people to death with a fruckin engine mount soon!!

This isn't THAT hard.. E153 is MR2 Turbo/Camry V6.. E154 is THE SAME TRANSMISSION but since it is AWD they named it the E154 because of the transfer case bolted on it! They couldn't just call it the
"E153 w/ awd transfer case for super radical celica turbo with awd functions that make all your base belong to us!"

So.. Go find yourself an E153 BRACKET, it's the BRACKET that bolts to the REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION! Should be able to easily find one at a junk yard that has a V6 5spd camry, or ask around online! Yes, The ST205 rear tranny bracket works as well! THEN!!! No if's and's or but's! You need the ST205 rear MOUNT.

End of discussion if I was a mod I'd close all these rediculous threads.

Hey Sthen -

No, the axles on your ST202 (non- super strut) are the same as our GT Celica's with the S series trans. So you'll have to use the MR2 / Camry / Alltrac combo's, or try the axles from the ST202 SS2 (super strut) Celica.

You need hybrid axles, no matter what you do. Depending on how you go about doing that, you will need spacers.
