Hey guys, i have been around in the "rafters" as you could say. lol But anyways, heres the reason im posting.

Last night i was STOPPED at a red light, when i look up and see nothing but lights. I guess i blacked out when i got hit then right back into conscienceness. The driver had 36 beers, some needles, and some pills the Police found on him, so as long as justice was done, im a little happier. Out of everything i think i just have a bruised back and mild case of whip-lash.

As for the car..

Since it was a rear end colission, my rear bumper IS GONE! lol so most def getting a new rear bumper.

Here are some pics of the damage from this morning.

Like i said I have "whip-lash" and "back injuries". Trust me, im going to get every penny i can squeeze out of this. This guy was completely belligerent on top of being drunk.

He was so drunk, he didnt know why on earth i would be stopped at a red light?

Trust me, i am most definitely getting what is owed to me...

DONT THINK I WANT ANYTHING BUT A 6GC THO.. AND I HAVE MY REASONS WHY SO DONT BASH ME ON SAYING THAT

i'm sorry to hear about your car mario. good to hear you are okay though, it could of been a lot worse. Drunk drivers that are as bad as you made the guy sound deserve some serious jail time... someone could of been killed.

Damn, atleast your car and you aren't as bad as of what COULD'VE been.
Good to see you're ok though and yes, what an irresponsible a$$ to have been driving with all that in his body. Like yes, a couple beers and drive...sure...if u can handle it....a crap load of beers and drugs and then drive?! man, that's just beyond stupid and handing your life over on a silver platter.
Anyway, he'll get what he deserves, and hope all goes along with you bud.

Indeed, sorry for the brief scare. On the other hand, after really relaxing the REAL effects of the wreck are starting to take a toll (neck is really achy, and back is losing dexterity and mobility) and its beginning to hurt to walk.

Well, insurance wont be out until Monday to have a look. Then is when i will know if my frame got bent, and if so frown.gif bye bye snow white. So lets hope for the best. Luckily he didnt bust my W3 i have in my trunk.. i can still bump! laugh.gif laugh.gif

Well I was at an Exit ramp of a highway waiting at a light, so I figure he was going at least 30+MPH. Most of the impact was done on the right rear like in the pics. If he would have been more DIRECTLY STRAIGHT on in the back, im sure the damage would be much more substantial. The light is cracked a LITTLE on the bottom of the plastic casing, so i think that ONE may need replacing.

All i know is, this will definitely make it to the court offices.

Well i can see that the damage aint that bad, but i also know that insurance doesn't care about market value of the car and will total it if they believe the damage is more than $1.5K, so if insurance totals it and you decide u want another car with the money, keep this car from insurance (they keep about 400 to 800) and ill buy it from you and pick it up smile.gif

I'm glad you're okay and your car isn't worse than it is. I'm guessing you'll be hurting for quite some time... you should go to a doctor and get checked out, stuff like that often doesn't exhibit symptoms until days later. You should absolutely get x-rays if you're getting really sore and it's getting difficult to walk.

Sounds like it's spring break... all the more reason that even a few beers "if you can handle it" is still a bad idea. A "few" beers still delays your reflexes, and if your reflexes are impaired or delayed when someone like THAT guy comes at you from a different angle, things could get a lot worse.

All you kids on spring break this week, be CAREFUL!!!

Well if they do total the car, ill let everyone know. But unless there is some SERIOUS damage to the frame.. i doubt its likely to be totaled.

Yeah, i actually got checked and x-rayed today. So fingers crossed the results are nothing negative (i.e broken/cracked vertebra)

Ironically the man who hit me was 40+ so i doubt he was on spring break.. this guy just never grew up it would seem.

Unlucky dude, i hope you have a speedy recovery. Whiplash can be nasty and can kick in weeks later.
