Wasnt there a post regarding how Toyota isnt going into the power game to compete with the RX8 and 350, and how its more of an "end product" for them?

The new Supra is supposed to be making its debut in a couple of weeks at the Tokyo Motor Show (Note the link below is just a link to the TMS site, it doesn't make any mention of which cars will be there).
http://www.tokyo-motorshow.com/eng/ XE_Nathaniel may have more info on this, as in the past he's had good info about the new supra. -------------------- |

I think they definately should...the MKIV was absolutely gorgeous and has become a modern legend in performance. If anything, the new Supra should be even more impressive both in price, looks, and performance. I want Toyota to show Nissan who wears the daddy pants in sports car production over in japan....

haha, you mean, show the SRT-4 that japanese cars can compete, right? After all, it does spank every other import on the road according to Motor Trend. (RX-8, 350Z, WRX, etc.) The only things that can really spank it are the WRX STI, and the new EVO. And the evo in the price range is raped sideways by it. If only it wasn't made by Dodge... I got a chance to look at a SRT-4 the other day. They have one at my local dodge dealer. I am really impressed with it, especially the front end. It looks really great. And plus, it has Rompin Stompin power!

I saw one of those srt-4's on the road the other day, and yes it passed me without a problem. SCC says that those things aren't built solid and for all its worth it'll be in the shop more than on the road. Frankly, I don't like them and once I finish mounting my t-28 to the 4age bvc, thats on its way, we'll see whos going to pass who. Hopefully this MKV will spank all.
