ok i ordered a new bumper and a new fender got them together for 280. the fender is oem and cost 155. the bumper was made from Tong Yang Group and was 125. the place i got this from was a local wrecking yard in my area. the salesman told me when i ordered it, that the fender was oem and i assumed that the bumper was to. (mah bad i guess, i should of asked) has anyone had one of these TYG bumpers?

lol i'll settle with "arent too bad" for the bumper i guess, but the fender was toyota oem. so 1 of 2 isnt that bad.
the next step is frame work for me. never dont frame work so this might take a while. anyone done this before? if so what tools are needed? This post has been edited by foutong: Apr 17, 2008 - 6:05 AM |

you'll need some sort of frame puller.. i've seen guys here who buy and fix salvaged cars for a living at home. and they made their own frame pullers which consists of having a couple of fixed mounting locations like having a support hook planted in cement and a homemade hydraulic with chain that will push from that fixed point. i've seen people use a multi-pulley mechanism and just tied it against a post or tree..
anyway you'll need some sort of machine to help pull your frame in the direction you want.. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
