broke into sometime ago, they managed to steal my stereo, brake my center console, gouge the PS airbag cover, steal my sunglasses, loose change, knife, and tools. They did this by slipping a screwdriver into the window, prying it back and using something to hit the lock button.

Consider yourself lucky. I had my other car broken into last year and they broke my backdoor driver side window (the smaller window) and got into my car; snipped my alarm, stole my headunit and broke my hand compartment; took my PSP.....that was the first time i left that in the car too. I'm sure it was someone who knew what was in my car because when i turn off my car, the headunit has a full black screen with no buttons (non-detachable faceplate) and car is all stock on the outside; and it was in an underground parking lot so its dark, can't see in the car much. Also that same night, 7 other cars in the parking lot in different floors were successfully broken into and robbed.
Good thing they didn't jack my rear speakers and door speakers, those are aftermarket but i put the speaker grille over it so you can't see it.
You should invest in a 2-way alarm.

my civic got jacked last winter, i had a viper security system with ignition kill INSTALLED. got my whole car and stripped everything...ctr lips, lambo doors, tein springs, full tanabe catback exaughst, pioneer deck, half rebuilt head, type r rims, spoon sports headers, jdm headlights, si taillights etc...that was my baby put in lots of work over a 3yr period of time, all just to have it jackd. police found the shell in St. Paul, no motor, no exterior, no interior, just the frame left...and to top it off my full coverage insurance only gave me $4000. i spent more than that on parts, not to mention the cost of the car. FCKD UP. oh well i got my celica wit 4age blacktop now...should be faster than the civic ever was...

It's worse when you have the convertible, and it has a loose quarter glass... You can squeeze about a solid inch of ambient space between the glasses... kindasad.gif
