My motor's about to hit the 200k mark soon ...and i think im beginning to have tranny problems anyway ...so ive been looking into v6 swaps that i could possibly do because i dont feel like just dropping another 7afe, n i deff dont wanna get rid of the car...i know plenty of u guyz have the Solara ....what n/a motor would be the best to upgrade to ???as well as reasonable cost?

tried searching this but an error message kept poppin up =/

1mz fe FTW
cheaper than a 3mz, but faster and lighter than the 3vz

if you want na, go with the 3mz if you can afford it
3vz will be turbo only pretty much
1mz is the in between tongue.gif

Non vvti 1mz-fe (eg 99 solara - like i have).

I would STRONGLY advise NOT taking on a 3mz swap because it is very complicated with the drive by wire etc etc. The 3vz is older and slower. Click the links below in my sig for more info on the 1mz-fe swap etc.
