It has A/C and E/C. Ill get it dyno'd after i decat it and fit one or two things. Im running it on 99.5 octane petrol that was released over here as its saver for the environment (but thats not why i use it ) basically regular petrol with 5% bio-ethanol that can be bought off the pump at the same price as regular. Just like the levin it would loose power on regular 95 since they're mapped for Jap 100 octane.

May I say with all sincerity that I really hate you! That's just the jealousy talking.
Seriously sweet ride you have there, though. What is the deal with the best models never being sent to the states? -------------------- |

What is the deal with the best models never being sent to the states? ha thanks and the answer to your question is... Geography The best models were never sent to Ireland either, all imported privately and sometimes by garages. japanese import is a phrase very common in ireland since the eighthies. usually Toyotas and usually a sign of low mileage and great condition. -------------------- |

At least you guys can import!!! We can't get the ST205 until the ST205's are 25 years old or something! -------------------- |

After getting lost for over a month somehere between Japan and Ireland my new wheels have finally arrived.
Enkei Rp-F1 16x7 205/50 tyres. ET 35 with 5mm spacer on the rear. 6.2kg each, heavier with the tyre but still a good bit lighter then the 17" ones i removed. Steering response has improved leaps and bounds with the light 16" compared to the 17" wheels. Plus it frames the brakes alot better. brakes are alot more snug then they look in the picture, fill the wheel nicely. Rough pictures but ye get the idea. What do ye think? -------------------- |

I thought all Celica owners were moist...? No, I'm pretty sure it is a condition suffered by adult females travelling in a Celica. Happens to both female drivers and passengers and appears to be more severe and occur more frequently the younger they are biggrin.gif . Edit: I am reminded that in extreme cases simply being in proximity to one or more Celicas can bring on the condition. This is absolutely true, from the female Celica owner's perspective. It's been a chronic condition for years, one that was expected to subside upon the acquisition of said Celica, only to find out the condition has actually worsened in the light of a relentless pursuit to achieve the delicate balance of artistic and mechanical perfection. biggrin.gif Case in point. This car is just beautiful. (Although I agree w/Manphibian, I prefer the black rims.) Welcome to the site! -------------------- |

QUOTE Come with full cream leather interior CD changer and an LSD with an attched oil cooler as standard. JDM S14 came with LSD..my brother's got one But not with an oil cooler. I know its not everyones cup of tea but they are: Rarer, Noticeably improve handling and steering response, Less stress on the super strut, Improve acceleration and braking, Better for fuel economy when just potting around, Bigger tyre allows more protection against Irish roads. Plus the combination of 35 offset and wide tyres fill the arches alot better. Im loving the whole "Time Attack look" and i think this puts the car in the right direction. The tyres are Federal 535, i ordered 595 but was sent the lesser 535 so I'm getting a refund of the price difference. I had federals on my last car and I find them a good balance plus they stick out past the rim offering a very good amount of protection against kerbing. -------------------- |

Rasps like a VTEC when i take my foot off and fall down from high revs hi was this a simple bolt on affair or was there cutting involved? The decat was the perfect length BUT the standard manifold had a bit sticking out that is ment to insert into the cat, this had to be cut off as the pipe and decat where the same diameter so one wouldnt go into the other. yummy, absolute love the RP-F1's...one of my fave alloys. Where did you order them from? Japan. QUOTE Rasps like a VTEC when i take my foot off and fall down from high revs give us a sound/video of it? I'll work on it.
