If by chance ghosts exist, and I became one, which I hope I would. I would do everything in my power to make people believe without a doubt. Such as forming in front of a large group of people and casually explained that I am in fact a ghost and ghosts do exist and look at all the creepy stuff I can do isn't it cool. But no you never get that you get a glimpse of something or a shadow or a cold chill or orbs of energy. Or how about bigfoot. With nearly every part of the world having this legend you'd think that maybe just maybe someone in the course of human history would stumble over some bones or a dead bigfoot because they aren't immortal. Do we have that, no. Or lets believe that the LochNess monster is in actuality a dinosaur that some how survived and has lived for hundreds of years even though the actual Loch cannot support an organism of that size.

Ghosts cannot think like that. Normally ghost dont even know they are what they are. most ghost are like a home video. they just keep replaying the same event over and over. but then there are ghost who understand what they are but are trapped in this other world. so they try to show themselves, and try to talk thru the EVP but they cant always do that, they need an enormous amount of energy to show themselves like that. Thats why you see glimpses of ghost, they manifest the energy but dont manifest enough so you will see some of them but then it vanishes. Think of it as lifting, you have only so much energy. so you do pull ups and you do about 10 then u start slowing down and can only do 13 until u drop. for a ghost they would be appearing in those 10 pull ups pretty clear, and then fade away by the 13th one. humans have energy, ghosts have none at all, thats why they pull in energy from around them.

Bigfoot is beleived to bury their dead like us humans. i was always a sceptic of bigfoot, until i saw him in 7th grade. and still hear him wooping and yelling to this day.

....Even though I got into witchcraft at an early age (5th grade), things did happen that required me to sleep with a night light til the age of 12. Laugh all you want at that, but the night of my 13th birthday and up until my 25th birthday, I began to experience sleep paralysis. ...

I remember reading this from one of the Science Mag...

Sometimes when you're asleep you unconciously move ur body parts ie. you sleep with ur hand under your chest. If this hand doesnt receive enough blood supply over an amount of time, it will die and theres noway you can save it. You dont actually ackowledge this but the brain does, it tries to wake you up by letting you see scary images like you are sorrounded by ghosts and unable to move. Do you notice that when you finally wake up one of ur body parts feels numb?

Super, I have to totally disagree with your logic of needing tangible evidence in order to believe in something. There are many unexplainable events in this world that cannot be explain by science or by religion. At one point in time, people have no idea what gravity and magnetism were. Can you imagine what you would have sounded like to someone in the dark ages what these concepts meant? They'd think you were crazy. Also, shamans and healers back in the turn of the last millennium were believed to have special magical powers. Using special "potions" and secret formulas, chants, and prayers, they were often able to "cure" people of their ailments.

Smoking was once thought to be a healthy practice (yes, really). Global warming was once dismissed by many SCIENTISTS a few decades ago. Now everyone is on board that it is a very real problem. We take a lot of things for granted because of dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of years of knowledge accumulated by other pioneers who were mocked and ridiculed for their radical thinking. Now we under stand what gravity is. We know know what magnetism is. Modern medicine now accepts what those shamans and healers did to be sound medical practice. Smoking is universally seen as a health risk. And thanks to our former vice president's efforts, the word on global warming has finally been heeded by the public. All of the things I mentioned were things that could not be explained with tangible evidence. It had to be observed, then measured, quantified, and analyzed.

My point is: there are seemingly unexplainable forces and occurrences that happen throughout the world. Saying that you can't believe in them until you see them is a rather simple way of thinking (no offense!). It's like a person saying he doesn't believe in the power of placebos, science CANNOT explain why placebos work, and ALL scientific evidence would OBVIOUSLY point to placebos having ZERO effects (just the very definition of the word would suggest that they should not work), yet they can be PROVEN to have real effects.

I can an open mind to every idea out there as long as there some sort of scientific basis for it. Like I said before, ghosts and paranormal phenomenon all have scientific theories and explanations on why they can exist. So who knows...perhaps in a few years or a few decades, science will catch up and offer a better theory on why things like ghosts seem to exist.

Lastly, have you seen the picture of the one-horned deer? Obviously it isn't a unicorn (it's not a horse). But I'd bet 99% of people out there though unicorns were 100% made up creatures. Yet now there is a very, very real animal that looks just like that mythical creature. Perhaps these anomalies are the origins of those supposedly "made-up" animals? So, again. Things that may seem far-fetched and impossible...one way or another, science (and a little bit of luck) offers us a possible explanation for why it is indeed possible.

Religion explains nothing, should not be used to explain anything, ever. Science is something that is always changing, always evolving, thats the beauty of it. You don't know something now...you'll know it later. Everything doesn't need to be explained here and now.

I'm still trying to understand your point. You disagree about tangible evidence, but then talk about how global warming isn't tangible evident nor is gravity. Your taking things to literally. When I mean tangible evidence this includes data that can be collected and observed.

Well, I am going to submit in this discussion. People will believe what they want to. I just know of what is based from my own personal experiences that I only share. Of course I would not except anyone to believe me, as they would think I am maybe crazy. But I have been diagnosed with Bi-Polar, yet I have been fully checked out and there is nothing else wrong with me in my head. I do experience things and see things a scitso would have, but I am normal as the doctors say.

If you all believe we are pretty much flesh machines who just die and have no souls, then there is nothing more I can say. If you look this up though, I am curious to hear what your thoughts are. But when a person dies, all weight can be accounted for, from the waste the body puts out to everything else. Yet they cannot understand why a person loses (generally, I haven't the exact amount) an 1oz (or maybe it was in grams?) that is unaccounted for. Some people believe that is how much the soul weighs, and assume that it leaves the body.

I just find it strange that this is the only planet as we know so far, that is like ours which harbors such life. How these large rocks of mass just orbit around keeping all things balanced and in check. How just about all habitats harbor life. Indeed, this planet is mysterious.

You find it strange that this is the only planet as we know so far that is like ours and has life. How is that strange? There are billions of planets and they are all millions and billions of light years away. Millions and billions of years at the speed of light.

Just think about that for a second.

So you think, that because we haven't found any other life in our extremely short time in space, you have concluded that there are souls, gods, goblins and ghosts.

I know a lot of people that had heard wierd stuff in the woods. I grew up about 20 miles from an area
called tiger canyon and a couple people claimed to have seen bigfoot. I also have a very close friend,
which I respect and trust, who also claims to have seen him, I remain sceptical. What my friend described
was a large beast standing upright, (not a bear, he has hunted and killed bear and knows what a bear looks like)
dragging some sort of carcass through a barbed wire fence, it simply vanished. He was with 2 people in a pickup
with three hunting rifles on board and he told me he was actually too terified to move. I hunted for about 20 years of my life
and never saw a cougar until about the 18th year yet there are hundreds in the areas I hunted.

There is no doubt there is life elsewhere in the universe. With all the hubble telescope pictures of outside the milkyway galaxy (Our galaxy) of the hundreds of other galaxys, there is definatly some planet that has the same conditions as the earth. Im not saying there are weird looking creatures although it is possible but im saying there are other humans like us. I also remember reading about how scientist now beleive that there could possibly be more than 1 universe

Thats a good point. But there are a lot of people that also could claim to see them all the time. Sometimes it just depends on the part of the area your in and where they my stay more often. I just think more people would have seen it. That someone would find the courage to track it, or follow it without being scared of it. I know if might be hard but it always seems to me that when people sya they saw him they where so scared that they froze, or just watch him walk away and disappear. If i saw bigfoot i would try to follow him and see where he goes, or at least see how long i could follow him. I wouldnt just stair in awww or fear. my curiosity would get the better of me for sure.

I would think people just stand there too much in shock and in fear to move because of the fact that the bigfoot monster could do something back if it ever noticed. Think of it this way, if you saw a tiger but it hadn't seen you yet, would you try to go after it JUST BECAUSE it was the first time you've ever seen a tiger?

You THINK God exists...there's nothing in this world which would suggest otherwise. People can debate all they want with me, unless they come armed to the teeth with a logical argument or evidence to counter my evidence, then it's really pointless to try. People want to debate with me things that they have no reason for believing and have nothing to back up their claims and yet, still continue to believe. IMO this is foolish.

I doubt they'd be human - we're a result of random mutations best characteristics. Intelligent possibly, look like us? Doubtful, but not impossible.
