Ok. So we dont have everyone trying to set this up. Me and Shephen Lee are committing ourselves to try and organize this thing. We have all had some things go bad but i know we can get this together. We are shotting for Austin because that seemed to be a agreeable place to go. We all like the idea of Austin/Marble Falls Area Hill country. Here is what we have in mind:

Meet place: http://www.simon.com/mall/tenant_details.a...7&TID=61963 This is a bar Called Pluckers. From the info ive got from them, they are outside the mall and have a good sized parking lot. They are also open 11am till 2am. But either way, we can all pin point ourselves here and grab some food while we wait and meet and greet. After everyone makes it and eats, drinks, meets, and what have you, we can head for the Hill Country. (Side Question: How many people know that area of this Hill Coutnry, how to get there, and can we get a map or something so people can get an idea of the area, the road itself, what major roads it connects with and how to get to them? We need something like this so people that are not from the area or dont know the area wont get lost and blow a lot of gas trying to find their way out or back home.)

Time: Everyone agreed with 3pm on the old meet and i think we should keep this time. This makes sure that everyone that is going to come, will be able to get their in time to meet great and ride. Anyone who wants to get their earlier can, but for the big meet we plan to be at Pluckers at 3pm.

When: July 12th. Most can agree on this date. And we just need to state a date.

Maybe we should setup a day two thing on Sun for folks that wanna keep the party going but still allowing the main event to be accessible to everyone? we can setup a hotel in Austin or New Braunfels depending on where we decide to go, Schlitterbahn or Sea World.

Also - I suggest 2 meet times cause 3PM is waaay to late to start a meet of this size. I'm down for meeting up twice and the rest of us can just chill and maybe pre-cruise cruise before you day sleepers get there.

I agree, I will be there around 9-10am anyway, probably along w/ Zero and Spolski.

What time does Houston Caravan #1 Roll out, and where?

also, we're going to Austin, eating, then driving to San Antonio?

So you are going to be in SA the night before or do you still want to meet up with the early Houston Caravan somewhere?


I'll be going to SA [Most likely] after the meet to spend the next day there if there is no second day. You guys can come or go home - w/e you want. But If I'm driving all the way to Austin [Which I hate] then I'm gonna drive the other hour to SA [Which I love]. And before any of you say "But SA is more than an hour from Austin" - it may be for you - but for me it's an hour or less cause I just loooove that particular stretch of highway and tickets are nothing new to me.


That's why we have this thread - to ensure that you and everyone else who wants to go can make it for whatever reason. So if you have any info or updates concerning your car please let us know so that we can plan around your needs.

Hopefully the Supra will be done, registered, and insured by then that way I can cruise around with the targa off. wrd.

Death, are you gonna grab a hotel/motel room down there? How much do they usually run a night?

I will if the meet runs two days - if not I'll get one in SA. You bringin the GF or you wanna split a room?
Last time we had the Texas Toyota Meet the rooms cost us $75/night but that was in Austin proper. I'm sure we could find a better deal outside of the city near where we cruise.

I'm going to try and get the gf to come out. She's being slow as to what she wants to do about her b-day. bleh

I'm in. And I'll be rolling out with the 1st houston caravan whatever time that may be. Hopefully no earlier than 9, otherwise I can't do it. (I'm clinically dead before 1 usually, but for this I'll make an exception)

I'm gonna try to get my friend with a 6gc to come out, I need to talk to her and give her a date so she can ask off work.

But yeah, I'm down.

Yeah, I don't think she wants to go cuz it's part car meet. Fcuk it.

I can't really decide at this juncture whether or not I'll stay for day 2. At this point its a monetary issue.

I'm out. My pop is getting married on the 12th. So i gotta go to that, besides, i aint seen the man in a few years... (That bastard still has some of my DVD's )

Anyway, i'm still wrecked & two tone black, tryin to get my garage (August) so i can paint & F.G. some **** up. Ya'll arn't missing anything special. (Except for my antics )
